  Published annually to meet the diverse need for a reliable reference book on agricultural production, supplies, consumption, facilities, costs, and returns. Available from 1994 to date. Each year is a separate file.

  Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT)
  A leading futures and futures-options exchange. Initially CBOT traded only agricultural commodities but evolved over the years to include non-storable agricultural commodities and non-agricultural products. Has historical data.
  Grain Marketing Page
  Links and information about the grain markets. Information and commentary updated every trading day.
  News and information for the grain, milling, feed, seed and biofuels industries. Features include Old Time Elevator (full text articles from October 1998 about old grain elevators) and Northern Star and Northern Star 11 (two serialized murder mysteries set at a farmer-owned cooperative in a small town in northern Iowa).
  Minneapolis Grain Exchange (MGEX)
  The world's largest market for hard red spring wheat futures and options trading, this commodity exchange is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota..
  A compilation of data from from such sources as the CIA World Factbook, and UN and OECD publications. The site contains an encyclopedia (with authoritative, full text, linked entries on cereals, grains, milling, ethanol, bioplastics and so on) and a section containing statistics. The statistics are split into categories. The category for agriculture contains statistics and graphs related to agriculture including cereal production, production and consumption of specific grains, etc. In addition to interactively generating charts and maps on a number of topics, the site's scripting language allows users to select from the more than 600 statistical variables available to create customized charts.
  Oil Crops Outlook
  Examines supply, use, prices, and trade for oil crops (primarily soybeans and products), including supply and demand prospects in major importing and exporting countries. Includes information on cottonseed, peanuts, sunflowerseed, tropical oils, corn oil, and animal fats. For 1995-1998 files are text files only. From 1999-February 2002 files are available as text or PDF. Beginning with March 2002, files are available in PDF format only.
  Organic Price Index (OPX)
  The only place U.S. farmers and buyers can go to find regularly updated information about wholesale organic prices across the country. Tracks weekly prices for most organically grown fruits, grains and vegetables.
  Soy Stats
  A comprehensive resource for statistical information about the U.S. soybean industry and its relationship to world oilseed production. Currently, online access is provided to the 2000 through 2009 editions.
  Charts of oils and meal produced by country and by type of oil/meal for 2002. Amounts are in the millions of tonnes.

  Yearly data from 1989-90 on the shipments of edible fats and oils within the U.S. by category. The tonnage is in millions of pounds.
  USDA Economics, Statistics and Market Information System
  The System contains nearly 300 reports and datasets from the economics agencies of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. These materials cover U.S. and international agriculture and related topics.
